光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一，是中国第一枚使用的机制铸币。由两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。光绪元宝材质珍贵，艺术价值高，由贵重金属铸造，制作精美，图案考究，文字清秀，内容丰富，银光灿烂，其貌可人，具有一定的保值和升值功能。

Guangxu Yuanbao is one of the currencies that circulated during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty and was the first mechanism coin used by China. 此枚云南造光绪元宝库平三钱六分，正面铸有铭文，顶部铸楷体“云南省造”四字，底部铸货币价值“库平三钱六分” ，中心直读“光绪元宝”四字，币中心为满文“光绪元宝” ，外圈两侧各有一朵7个小圆圈组成的花纹装饰。藏品的背面内圈是神龙图腾，纹路如刀刻所成，铸造工艺神乎其技，且龙身纹路精美，龙身纤细，龙首威严霸气，极其瑰丽，美得动人心魄！神龙图腾纹饰自然纯正，光洁细润。外环珠圈，左右两侧依然各有一朵7个小圆圈组成的花纹装饰。钱币的版面设计优雅，而且存世量极为稀少，是收藏界精品，知名度极大的一种，具有无法估量的学术与历史价值。
